        We know your new 4Sleep Mattress is going to be your ticket to dreamland every night. However, if for any reason within 100 days from the date of delivery you are not completely happy with your 4Sleep Mattress just let us know. If we can’t find a satisfactory solution to your issue, we’ll coordinate a return. We do ask that you give your mattress a try for at least 30 days as it sometimes takes a few weeks for your body to fully adjust to proper alignment. If things just don’t work out for you e-mail our sleep experts at support@4sleep.com. We will get back with you within 24 hours.  Once the return process is complete, your refund will be processed within 72 hours.

        The 4Sleep mattress is a 100% Made in the USA product. Your new mattress will be built and shipped directly from our manufacturing facilities in Georgia to you.

        Why go into a store where you’re surrounded by strangers and bright showroom lights and in a matter of minutes have to find a bed that’s right for you? Chances are good that once you get it home it would feel differently, or worse, you’d find sleeping on it is impossible. Ugh!
         
        What better showroom than your very own bedroom! Try the 4Sleep mattress in the comfort of your home for up to 100 days after delivery. We do ask you keep it at least 30 days as research shows that your body should fully adjust to a new mattress by then.         What is the 4Sleep mattress made of?

        We designed the 4Sleep mattress to address all of the key concerns consumers have with their mattresses. The 4Sleep mattress is made with four layers and a unique side edge support system not found in other memory foam mattresses. Together these components keep you comfortable, maintain the proper support for your body, reduce tossing and turning, maximize the available sleep surface and give you ease of movement not found in most mattresses no matter what they are made of.

        The 4Sleep mattress components are:

        Top Temperature Responsive Gel Memory Foam Layer

        Maintains the ideal temp zone for optimal sleep adapts to body contours for relief in pressure-sensitive areas, eliminates discomfort for less tossing and turning.

        - Density 3.5 pcf

        Second Motion Control Layer

        Motion boosting + energy absorption for the double whammy of minimized motion transfer between partners while still allowing great bounce.

        Is your product eco-friendly?

        You bet! We take a holistic approach to our products. We use renewable materials and water-based adhesives. Our foam is also CertiPUR-US certified which means you can breathe freely knowing your mattress is good for you inside and out. No heavy metals, formaldehyde, PBDE flame retardants or ozone depleters.

        Can I put it on a box spring?

        Absolutely, but we recommend a new box spring specifically made for memory foam to ensure support and long life. Your mattress will live a good life if it is resting on a firm, flat, solid surface. A slatted base can be used but shouldn’t have spacing more than 3” apart. Avoid those mattress killer frames that have a lot of open surface area where the mattress will sag. The more the surface area is flat and solid the better for the life of your mattress.

        Will I feel movement in the bed?

        Are we talking a sleeping partner who tosses and turns all night? Or a small, running child or pet who jumps on the bed at 6 A.M. on a Saturday? Many types of mattresses, even some of those made of lesser quality memory foam, do little to prevent the transfer of motion between partners. The 4Sleep mattress is engineered with just the right combination of advanced technology foam layers to minimize motion transfer and help you sleep peacefully through the night. Keep in mind, though, your bed frame can have a lot to do with how shaky your bed feels. If you don’t have a solid, sturdy frame you might feel motion from the bed itself moving.

        Will my new mattress have an odor?

        Like all new products right out of the box, your new product may have a “fresh foam” scent. We do recommend not placing mattress pads and sheets on the mattress and leaving it uncovered for 24 – 48 hours. Any scent from the packing process will dissipate quickly.

        Many of our customers sleep on their new mattress the day it is delivered which is no problem since our 4Sleep foams are CertiPUR-US certified. This means there are no harmful chemicals and no toxic off gassing from the mattress.

        Will the memory foam make me hot?

        If you are hot when you are in bed, it’s not caused from the memory foam! From the “Cooling on Demand” technology of our cover to the unique ability of our foam to maintain your body’s optimal sleep temperature, the 4Sleep mattress disproves the myth that memory foam makes you hot.

        We offer our mattress in the following sizes and weights:

        Queen 60” x 80” x 11” 81 lbs.
         
        King 76” x 80” x 11” 102 lbs.

        Is this box I received really a mattress?

        Yes, you really have received a mattress! The cool thing about our mattress is it comes in a much smaller box so it’s easier to get the mattress to your bedroom. Here are the box sizes:
         
        Full 20” x 20” x 40”
         
        Queen 20” x 20” x 40”
         
        King 22” x 23” x 44”

        xWhen you open it, be sure it’s in the room where you want to sleep. You’ll simply remove it from the box, and with the handy I LUV 4Sleep tool, slowly and carefully cut the outer plastic sleeve down its length and remove. Next, unfold the 4Sleep mattress, making sure the cover is facing up, and place it on your foundation or a flat surface. Then, carefully cut the sealed end of the plastic bag using the cutting tool. Then stand back and voila! The mattress naturally reaches its maximum size in minutes.

        Do you add fire retardants?

        We do not use any potentially toxic post fire retardant treatment on our mattresses. Instead, we have two layers of protection for the 4Sleep mattress. A proprietary fire retardant treatment is built into the memory foam itself and is completely non-toxic. In addition, we use a protective sock on the mattress that passes all federal regulations and acts to suffocate any fire.

        How much weight will it support?

        We designed our 4Sleep mattress to support up to 450 pounds of combined weight.

        Can I use an adjustable frame or even a Murphy bed?

        Yes. The 4Sleep mattress is flexible enough for an adjustable frame and just the right thickness for most Murphy beds – do check with the specific manufacturing specifications though for your frame or Murphy bed.

        Can I use the mattress in a sofa bed?

        Unfortunately it’s not designed to be folded up and hidden away.

        How often do I flip it?

        Flipping mattresses is a major pain so you’ll love this – the 4Sleep mattress is designed with a specific top and bottom so no flipping! It helps extend the life of the mattress though to give it a twirl every few months by rotating it so your feet are now at your head and your head are at your feet.

        Can I wash the mattress cover?

        We recommend using a protective water resistant mattress cover on your new 4Sleep mattress. In the event something does get spilled on the mattress, try to spot clean by hand (do not rub). If that doesn’t take care of it, you can remove the cover and machine wash it in cold water only! Beware! No hot water, No dryer, No iron and No dry clean. Sounds like a lot of No’s but the 4Sleep cover has very special properties and should be treated that way.

        May I use my heating pad?

        Yes. You can snuggle up to your heating pad with no worries.

        What about Dust Mites?

        Those pesky little buggers can get into any bed. However, memory foam has been shown to be very low on the preferred menu for dust mites as well as bed bugs.

        Where do you ship?

        We ship all over the continental US and Canada (no offense to AK, HI or the Dominican Republic). Delivery is available Monday through Friday. Sorry, no weekends.

        *CANADA CUSTOMERS: Shipping is still free, but there will be a $75 handling fee applied for duties and a $200 fee for any returns.

        How long does it take to ship?

        Once your order is placed on the FedEx truck we’ll notify you via email and provide a tracking number. Please be sure to actually track your package in the FedEx system to determine the actual delivery date as sometimes the date shown on the notice doesn’t exactly match the speed of their deliveries.

        Your new 4Sleep mattress should arrive in 2-5 business days via FedEx Ground from the date your mattress ships from our warehouse. If you have any concerns with the shipment or delivery, please contact our Sleep Experts. They are available from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. EST or at support@4sleep.com .

        How long can I leave it in the box?

        It’ll be fine for a few weeks but we recommend removing it as soon as possible.

        How do I open the mattress?

        Opening your mattress is easy. It comes with a handy I LUV 4Sleep tool that you can use. Take a look at this video and watch it come alive!

        What should I place it on?

        Your 4Sleep mattress must be continuously supported by an adequate foundation or adjustable bed base with a proper bed frame sufficient to support the collective weight of the mattress, foundation and user(s). Failure to have a proper bed frame may void the warranty.

        We recommend a platform style of bed that has a solid surface or a slatted base that has multiple, strong slats that are no more than 3” apart. A box spring can be used but we recommend a new box spring or foundation that is made to support memory foam mattresses. You will want to avoid older box springs that are not supportive and have a lot of open surface area where the mattress will sag. Your mattress will live a good life if it is resting on a firm, flat surface.

        Do not use traditional metal frames that have no solid foundation on top of them. Do not use a metal frame to support a box spring or slatted system for a queen, king or California king if the metal frame doesn’t have a rigid center support rail. Ultimately, the more the surface area is flat and solid the better for the life of your mattress.

        What if I purchased the wrong size?

        Please make sure you have ordered the correct size mattress before you open the box!  However, if you do need to exchange the size please contact support@4sleep.com and we will process the price differential to your credit card and ship you a new 4Sleep mattress.

        Please Note: Exchanging or returning your original 4Sleep mattress will void the 100-night trial for your second 4Sleep mattress.

        How do I know I’m not getting a previously returned bed?

        That will never happen. When we get a return, and it’s rare that we do, we’ll donate it to charity. We will never re-sell any product that has been opened. All of our returns are donated to charity.

        Do I put it back in the box?

        Like toothpaste, once it’s out, it’s out. Give the box to a cat and make its day. We’ll make arrangements to have a local charity pick up the mattress and provide you with a receipt to give to us to show that the charity received the mattress.

        Warranty

        PLEASE RETAIN THIS WARRANTY AND ORIGINAL PROOF OF PURCHASE

        4Sleep will replace or repair at our option, without cost to you, any 4Sleep mattress or mattress topper should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the warranty period, excluding the specific limitations contained herein. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

        Important terms and conditions regarding this warranty:

        1. This warranty is honored only for the original purchaser.
        2. Purchaser will not be responsible for any costs for shipping the replacement mattress under this warranty.
        3. No new warranty is provided with a replacement product. The warranty for the replacement product runs from the date of the original purchase of the replaced product. In connection with the replacement of a product in compliance with the terms of this Limited Warranty, if a purchaser elects to upgrade to a more expensive product, he/she may do so by paying the difference between the cost of the original product being replaced and the cost of the upgraded product. In the event of an upgrade as described in this paragraph, a new warranty will be provided for the upgraded pieces only.
        4. This limited warranty gives our customers specific legal rights. Other rights may vary based on the state of residence.
         

        4SLEEP MATTRESS: 10-YEAR FULL REPLACEMENT LIMITED WARRANTY

        This warranty covers the following items during normal wear:

        1. Deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one inch (1”) that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Your 4Sleep mattress must be continuously supported by an adequate foundation or adjustable bed base with a proper bed frame sufficient to support the collective weight of the mattress, foundation and user(s). Failure to have a proper bed frame may void the warranty. 4Sleep may require purchaser to provide proof of the quality of the foundation, adjustable bed base, or bed frame used in conjunction with the mattress if purchaser makes a claim under this limited warranty.
        2. Any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
        3. Any manufacturing defect in the zipper assembly of the mattress cover. 4Sleep may, at its own option, repair or replace the cover provided on the mattress. In the event the cover is replaced, 4Sleep may replace it with the current style of cover available for the mattress, which may be of a different color or material than the original cover product.
         

        This warranty does not apply to and excludes:

        1. A normal increase in softness of the memory foam or a decrease in its recovery aspects, both of which are anticipated characteristics of the foam and neither of which affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. However, normal increase in softness or a decrease in the recovery feature due to normal use, temperature or humidity is excluded under this warranty.
        2. Individual comfort preferences.
        3. Normal body impressions less than one inch (1”).
        4. Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to: burns, cuts, tears, stains or liquid damage. All warranties contained herein shall not apply if the mattress is abnormally soiled or unsanitary.
        5. Mattresses not used with proper foundation and support system.
        6. Transportation, inspection, or removal costs of product.
        7. Product sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.
        8. Product sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the product is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer.
