Dad: 4 All Of The Sleepless Nights I've Caused You.

For all the fathers who have endured all those sleepless nights waiting for their child to come home; waiting for their child to heal; comforting their child in sorrow; and simply just worrying about our well-being we celebrate you.  We love you dads.   Happy Father's Day.

In a world where there are many men who have fathered children, this tribute goes to all the men who HAVE BEEN and who ARE BEING fathers to their children.  Whether you are biological, adoptive, extended family or just a friend, if you are a man who helps to raise a child you deserve this celebration.  You are a father, a dad and we need you desperately.

Here are but just a few of the thanks we bestow upon you:

Dad - There is no other man like you.  You gave me life, you nurtured me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly loved me unconditionally.

Dad - For all those times I never said it, thank you.  Thank you for always believing in me when no one else did.  Thank you for encouraging me when I needed it.  Thank you for giving me strength when I had none left.  Thank you for loving me through the difficult times.  Thank you Dad for being you.

Dad - Even though I may love another man a lot.  So much that I marry him.  Let me remind you that you will always be the first man I ever loved and I will always be your little girl.

Dad - To most people you are just one person, but to are the world.

Dad - Not until I held my own child did I truly comprehend how much you have loved me; how many nights you have worried about me; how many smiles you have smiled for me; how much pain you have felt for me and what great sacrifices you have made for me.

Dad - Thank you for not telling me how to live, but instead letting watch how you live.  You have shown me how to be a strong, vulnerable, kind and forgiving human being and for that I thank you.

Dad - Thank you for always checking for monsters under my bed; for attempting to fix everything; for saying yes when Mom said no; and for being my #1 fan.
